Panda, 12″ x 10.75″

The endangered Giant Panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) roams the dense bamboo and coniferous mountains of central China. It feeds mainly on bamboo stalks and roots. It has an enlarged wrist bone which functions as a thumb, allowing it to grab and manipulate the bamboo. The panda is a solitary creature, spending most of its time eating and roaming large areas.
