Manzanita and Madrone Print

$65.00

The Greenleaf Manzanita (Arctostaphylos patula) is native to Western North America at moderate to high elevations.  Its twisting reddish-brown stems can grow one to two meters tall, with flat, oval to round leaves.  White to pink flowers grow in bunches and turn to dark brown drupes.  The Pacific Madrone (Arbutus menziesii), is a broad leaf evergreen hardwood native to the West Coast.  Its thin orange-red bark naturally peels away exposing a smooth satin surface.  Small white bell-shaped flowers in Spring turn to red berries in the Fall, providing food for a variety of birds and mammals.
