Phacelia flowers form on one side of the stem creating a graceful, spiraling curve. A major pollinator plant, the long, coiling inflorescences of nectar-rich flowers open in sequence, resulting in a long flowering period, providing flowers and nectar throughout the spring and summer. The genus Phacelia is one of the top twenty honey-producing flowers for honeybees.
