Teasel Card

$4.00

Hoarfrost accentuates the distinctive shape of the Common Teasel (Dipsacus fullonum), easily identified by its large oval flowerhead and prickly stem and leaves. The flowers open first at the middle of the flowerhead, and then sequentially toward the top and bottom. The dried head persists afterwards and is commonly used in floral decorations. Teasels can grow to 8 feet, and are considered an invasive species in the United States.
