The Tiger Lily (Lilium pardalinum) is a bulbous perennial native to southern Oregon and California. It typically grows to about 2 meters along woodland stream banks and wet areas, flowering in July. Six red-orange tepals have a yellow center with brown spots. Leaves grow directly on the stem in whorls. The bulbs are small, usually clustered together on a rhizomatous stock.
